What is E-mail aliasing? Once your
domain name is active you may wish to setup e-mail aliases. For
example, bob@yourname.com might also respond to all e-mail addressed
to sales@yourname.com and orders@yourname.com. Rather than setup
separate e-mail accounts, all e-mail sent to either of these accounts
will be aliased to the single e-mail account bob@yourname.com.
What is E-mail forwarding? This
automatic feature allows an individual to forward a new e-mail
account to an existing e-mail account. This eliminates the need
to setup additional e-mail clients.
What is E-mail autoresponding? Autoresponders
reply to incoming e-mail automatically. An autoresponder is used
when you wish to send an automatic reply to everyone who sends
you e-mail. A typical use would be to notify people that you are
out of town and you'll reply to their e-mail when you return.
I can't retrieve my E-mail Are
you using the correct settings? The POP3 or user name must be
in the form of yourname/yourdomain.com. The incoming and outgoing
mail server settings should be set to mail.inovadev.com Innovative

I'm having problems sending mail.
Innovative Data's Mail Server will not allow you to send mail
with an address from another Internet Provider. For example, if
you are trying to send mail from yourname@msn.com with your SMTP
server setting set to mail.inovadev.com our mail server will not
accept your message. If you have more than one e-mail address
with more than one Internet Provider, consult the documentation
of your mail software to see if you can setup multiple accounts
within the software.
My E-mail was working, now it is not
If your e-mail was working fine previously and suddenly it has
stopped, you probably have selected the option "Leave Mail on
Server After Retrieval". This option keeps a carbon copy of every
e-mail message your mailbox receives on the Mail Server. Do not
choose this option because you have a set amount of allocated
space for your mailbox. Once your mailbox is full, you will not
be able to receive e-mail messages. Unselect this option, and
contact us.
Sometimes an e-mail attachment will loop in your mailbox if you
have selected this option. To fix this error, you will have to
contact us and tell us to download the message and forward it
to another e-mail account or delete this message. Otherwise the
message will continue to loop in your mailbox and give you this
error.
I'm receiving a mail server time-out error
If your Internet Provider is extremely slow due to a bad Internet
backbone or network, you might have problems downloading your
e-mail when people send you large e-mail attachments. Basically,
your computer is trying to retrieve the e-mail attachment over
your slow Internet Provider's network and Innovative Data Transfer's
Mail Server responds with an error because the Internet Provider
is taking too long to retrieve the attachment. To fix this error,
you will have to contact
us and we'll delete the message, otherwise the message will
continue to loop in your mailbox and give you this error. Problems
retrieving large file attachments using Eudora Eudora
has a setting that will specify not to download large messages
or attachments. In order to change this select Tools-Options from
the top menu. When the options screen appears, select the Incoming
Mail icon. Make sure to uncheck the Skip Messages over XX k checkbox.
If the above solution hasn't corrected your problem there are
several things users you can try.
Quit Eudora, use Notepad to open the EUDORA.INI file in the Eudora
directory, and add this line to the [Settings] section of the
file: NetworkOpenTimeout=120 Then save changes to the file and
restart Eudora. (Note: If you're using Eudora version 3.x, you
can change this setting in Tools:Options:Advanced Network in Eudora
instead of editing the EUDORA.INI file).
If you're using Eudora version 2.2 or later:
Go to the Tools:Options:Advanced Networking screen in Eudora and
toggle both Asynchronous Winsock Call functions (if they're on,
turn them off; if they're off, turn them on).
If there doesn't seem to be any effect, leave
them off. In the Advanced Network screen (under Tools:Options
or Special:Settings), turn off "Cache network info." Also, raise
the "Network timeout after" setting to 120.
