Configuring Your E-mail Program
Obtaining E-mail Client Software
To send and receive e-mail, you need to download and install an
e-mail program if you have not already done so. Windows 95/NT users
can download an e-mail program of your choice at Stroud's

Configuring Your E-mail Program
You will need to specify e-mail settings
in your e-mail program to send and receive e-mail messages. Below
is a list of the general settings required for using Pacific Online's
Mail Server. There are also step by step instructions for configuring
e-mail programs such as Eudora, Netscape Messenger, Microsoft
Outlook, and Pegasus Mail.
| Your E-mail Address |
yourname@yourdomain.com |
| Your POP/Account
Name |
yourname/yourdomain.com
|
| Outgoing/Incoming
Mail Server |
mail.inovadev.com |
Please Note: Never select the option
"Leave Mail on Server After Retrieval". Each mailbox has an allocated
space for e-mail messages. If you choose this option, your mailbox
will keep a carbon copy of every e-mail message your receive.
If your allocated mailbox disk space is near or at capacity, you
will not be able to receive incoming e-mail messages.
Any questions regarding e-mail service or support
can be directed to postmaster@inovadev.com.
E-mail interactions are guided by general nettiquette conventions.
